PRIMARY HEALTH CARE

Child Health Foundation (CHF) is an NGO which runs primary healthcare clinics and operates four facilities, providing free consultations and medications to underserved communities of Bhittai Colony, Korangi, Lasbela, Essa Nagri and most recently in Qayyumabad. With a team of dedicated doctors, and support staff, CHF aims to improve access to quality healthcare and promote early diagnosis and screening of preventable diseases.

HEALTH EDUCATION & AWARENESS

CHF, as an NGO, plays an important role in promoting health education and awareness campaigns in addition to providing primary healthcare services. By conducting health education programs, CHF can help individuals and communities learn about various health-related issues, including disease prevention, hygiene practices, nutrition, and maternal health.

VACCINATION

CHF’s routine vaccination program aims to provide vaccines to children from birth up to 14 years of age to prevent vaccine-preventable diseases. The program follows the national immunization schedule, the EPI.

SPECIALIST CONSULTATIONS

The organization provides a range of services and support programs for families affected with communicable illness including access to specialist consultations with pediatricians and infectious disease specialists, among others. They work closely with CHF to help prevent and manage infections in children who may be more susceptible due to their weakened immune systems as a result of poor nutrition.

PREVENTIVE MEDICINE & NUTRITION

Child Health Foundation (CHF) promotes a holistic approach to health that includes preventive medicine and nutrition. They believe in proactive measures to prevent illness and promote healthy habits, such as regular check-ups, healthy eating, and exercise. CHF also recognizes the importance of balancing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being for optimal health, aligning with the philosophy of Avicenna, a Persian philosopher and physician who lived in the 10th and 11th centuries, and emphasized the importance of a holistic approach to achieving health goals.

RURAL OUTREACH PROGRAM

CHF (Child Health Foundation) conducts rural outreach programs in remote regions of Sind and Baluchistan. These camps aim to provide medical care and support to underserved communities in these areas. By reaching out to these communities, CHF strives to improve access to healthcare and address the unique health challenges faced by people living in remote areas. The organization may provide medical consultations, health education, and other support services during these camps to promote better health outcomes for individuals and families living in these regions.

TELE-MEDICINE

CHF (Child Health Foundation) has partnered with EZ Shifa Telemedicine through a pilot project as part of their efforts to expand access to healthcare for deserving communities. The partnership involves signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on providing telemedicine services to patients in remote or hard-to-reach areas. Through this partnership, CHF aims to improve the delivery of healthcare services and reduce the burden of healthcare costs for patients. The pilot project with EZ Shifa Telemedicine is an innovative step towards providing accessible and affordable healthcare to those who need it the most.

DENTAL CARE

We offer dental care services as part of our efforts to promote good health for children. Dental care services may include routine check-ups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and other preventive measures to maintain healthy teeth and gums. CHF’s dental care services also include education and awareness programs to promote good dental hygiene habits and encourage healthy eating habits to prevent tooth decay.
